• From The Hague
  Schiphol (A4) – follow the A4 towards Zaandam and take exit S106. At the end of this road, turn right. Pass the roundabout at Surinameplein and take the left-hand lane across the bridge. Turn left into Overtoom. At the end of Overtoom turn right into Stadhouderskade. At the third set of lights get in the left-hand lane and take the second street on the right, Pieter Cornelisz. Hooftstraat. The Museum Hotel is immediately on the right.
  
  
• From Utrecht (A2)
  Follow the signs for Centrum (Centre). As you enter Amsterdam, turn left at the first set of lights into President Kennedylaan. This avenue becomes Amsteldijk. Turn left at the T-junction onto Stadhouderskade. Follow this street and drive just past the Rijksmuseum. The Museum Hotel is on the left-hand corner.
  
  
• From Diemen / Amersfoort (A10)
  Follow the signs for Centrum (Centre), Amsterdam, Schiphol and take exit S112 Centrum. At Amstel Station follow the Centrum signs; you are now on Wibautstraat. Turn left at the large crossroads. Follow this street and drive just past the Rijksmuseum. The Museum Hotel is on the left-hand corner.
  
  
• By public transport
  (From Schiphol airport) From Schiphol airport take the train to Amsterdam Zuid. Then take tram 5 going to Centraal Station. Get off at the 8th stop (Hobbemastraat/Rijksmuseum). It is then a 3-minute walk to the Museum Hotel, which is at the junction of P.C. Hooftstraat and Stadhouderskade.
  (From Centraal Station) Take tram 5 going to Amstelveen Binnenhof or tram 2 going to Nieuwe Sloten. Get off at the 8th stop (Hobbemastraat/Rijksmuseum). It is then a 3-minute walk to the Museum Hotel, which is at the junction of P.C. Hooftstraat and Stadhouderskade.
