Hotel Belga is a monumental mansion designed by Rembrandt's frame makers in the 17th century and situated in the central part of town called Jordaan. With its restfull atmosphere, the small street "Hartenstraat" makes a real oasis in the heart of Amsterdam, surrounded with the picturesque canals, historic sights, cafes, restaurants, nightlife, business and congress facilities, shopping areas, one-of-a-kind boutiques and all sorts of public transport in immediate vicinity. All rooms feature color TV, direct-dial telephone with wake-up service, desk, private safe and washstand. Most of the rooms are with en-suite bathroom, some have shared facilities on the corridor.

• From From Amsterdam Central Station, take any tram to Dam Square. From behind the Royal Palace (the other side of the square), go into the street having the supermarket on your right hand side. Walk straight ahead, crossing 2 bridges. After the second bridge, the Hartenstraat is in front of you and Hotel Belga is on your right hand side, half way down the alley.

By the reception, you will find a lovely sitting area. Breakfast is served there every day, and coffee, tea and other refreshments are available all day.
