Under the management of the first and second generation Venmans, the hotel Apollofirst has developed into a 4 star hotel and restaurant on the statly Apollolaan. It has a classical interior and offers first class service. The Apollolaan is well-known for the Berlage "Amsterdam school" style of architecture. It is one of the few avenues in Amsterdam which still exudes the style and atmosphere reminiscent old days gone by. Beautifull shopping streets such as the Beethovenstraat are around the corner. • By tram:
  
  From Amsterdam Central Station take tram number 5 or 24. Step out at stop; Apollolaan, and walk to the nearest traffic lights and turn right onto the Apollolaan.

• By car:
  
  From all directions you automaticly end up at the ring ( A 10 ) around Amsterdam. There you follow the sign to the S 109. There you exit at the first traffic lights you turn right, then straight ahead (including roundabount) and follow the road while you keep the RAI Conference Centre on your left. Then you enter the Scheldestraat. When you get at the crossroad: Scheldestraat-Churchilllaan, at the traffic lights you turn left onto the Churchilllaan. You go straight ahead, the Churchilllaan falls into the Apollolaan the Hotel Apollofirst is at the left of the road at number 123.
