	Our Dutch food restaurant DE ROODE LEEUW is one of the leading members of "Neerlands Dis". "Neerlands Dis" restaurants prepare traditional Dutch dishes with Dutch dairy, meat and vegetables. Superb wines and magnificent old-fashioned local liquors (recipes which are over 300 years old!) are part of our assortment.
	Our guests can watch the world go by on our terrace BRASSERIE. One can choose from a large range of drinks, typical Dutch snacks, lunch-dishes, coffee varieties, pastries and ice-creams. It is one of the oldest (dating back to 1930) heated and air-conditioned terraces of Amsterdam. A perfect place to use as a meeting point or perhaps as a heaven in busy Amsterdam.

We have 2 Board-rooms on the "Executive-floor". These two rooms can host meetings from 10 to 14 persons each, have day-light, are air-conditioned and sound-proof. They are equipped with the following items:

Our "Business-Center" situated on the same floor can be used as secretariat. Here one can make use of a Personal Computer, a printer, scanner, fax, photocopier and Internet access.

Public transportation:

• We are within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station.
• Trams stop in front of the hotel - # 4 (RAI Exhibition and conference center) 9, 16, 24 and 25.

• From The Hague/Schiphol Airport:
  
  Follow the A4 direction Amsterdam until you are driving on the A10 (ring road). Exit at S109 /S110 RAI/Rivierenbuurt. Follow signs "Centrum" S 109. At the end of the canal (Rijksmuseum at your left hand side) turn left (S100) until you come at S 105. Here you turn right (Rozengracht). Follow this street until the end ( you will see the back of the Royal Palace in front of you). Turn right and follow this street. At the end of the street you will have a canal at your right hand side. Continue until you come to a tower (Munt tower) than turn left on the large street where streetcars are running (Rokin). You will come at Dam square and will see the hotel in front of you. Do not leave your car unattended when unloading your luggage because parking police is very strict in Amsterdam.
• From Utrecht and all other directions:
  
  Follow the ring road A 10 (east) direction Zaandam. Follow the sign Zeeburgertunnel / Centrum. Follow the signs centrum in direction of Central Station. When you have passed Central Station turn the first right (Nieuwe Zijds Voorburgwal) at 100 meters at the intersection keep right. follow this street for about 1 mile (1,5 kilometers) until you see Munt tower in front of you standing in the canal. Than turn left on the large street with streetcars and water on you right hand side. Continue to Dam Square. There you will see the hotel in front of you.
• From Haarlem, Zandvoort, Alkmaar:
  
  Enter Amsterdam via Halfweg and Sloterdijk and go always straight on until you see Central Station at your left. Turn right direction "P-route centrum" (Nieuwe Zijds Voorburgwal). At 100 meters at the intersection keep right. follow this street for about 1 mile (1,5 kilometers) until you see Munt tower in front of you standing in the canal. Than turn left on the large street with streetcars and water on you right hand side. Continue to Dam Square. There you will see the hotel in front of you.

Budget Single Room
Although Budget single rooms are less spacious than our Comfort rooms, they do offer the same amenities (described below) and are the perfect choice for the cost conscious single traveler. These rooms are all non smoking.

Comfort Room
All rooms have wired broadband Internet access for your notebook connection, and they also provide the possibility of accessing the Internet with a keyboard and the LCD TV screen. Complimentary coffee- and tea-making facilities are available, as well as a minibar. For your safety your room has a smoke detector and an electronic safe. Our LCD television sets allow you to access television programs in many languages and to view digital quality movies or listen to a large selection of stereo music CDs. It also allows you to view your bill and to place wake-up calls.
